Caring for a Peace Lily
Water your Spathiphyllum regularly, preferably so that the soil never dries out completely, but also does not get too wet. Spathiphyllums are used to a tropical environment, so they like a humid environment. As a general rule, you should wait for the top inches of the compost to dry before watering again. Place this beautiful houseplant with white flowers in indirect light, preferably in a place without cold drafts. Give your Spathiphyllum liquid plant food every two weeks during spring and summer. The flowers can start in spring and last for several months, after which they slowly turn green. Repot your peace lily into a slightly larger pot with fresh soil every few years. Peace lilies actually do well when their roots are somewhat restricted, but repeated wilting despite regular watering is a sign that the plant has outgrown the pot.
